Please don’t buy this system.

cant you just turn the camera around or put a blanket over it.

still a mic though
and theres the chance that it might say something like “error kinect camera cannot function when obscured”

Videogame consoles are not supposed to spy on you.
Videogame consoles are not supposed to potentially rat you out to the government.
Videogame consoles are not supposed to arbitrarily decide who sees what’s on the screen and what’s not.
I have never told anyone not to buy a videogame console, but in this case, knowing what I know about the Xbox One, I am seriously imploring people not to buy this machine. The console will not be consumer-friendly, and between the above and an always-on internet connection, how do you know your hobby isn’t siphoning personal information to…well, who knows who?
Suffice it to say, the Xbox 360 will be my last Microsoft console. I don’t care how many more Halo games get churned out.

Adding this here from my videogame blog because it’s too important, and the potential for Microsoft to spy on us, then report findings to the government if asked…yeah, no.
Spread the word!

If you haven’t read George Orwell’s “1984”, do so.
Seriously.

Honestly, this console is a joke to begin with.
If you buy it, regardless of the fact that it could be a Gov’t spying device
shame on you.

Lost Egyptian City Found Underwater After 1200 Years

1,200 years ago the ancient Egyptian city of Heracleion disappeared beneath the Mediterranean. Founded around 8th century BC, well before the foundation of Alexandria in 331 BC, it is believed Heracleion served as the obligatory port of entry to Egypt for all ships coming from the Greek world.

Prior to its discovery in 2000 by archaeologist Franck Goddio and the IEASM (European Institute for Underwater Archaeology), no trace of Thonis-Heracleion had been found (the city was known to the Greeks as Thonis). Its name was almost razed from the memory of mankind, only preserved in ancient classic texts and rare inscriptions found on land by archaeologists.

A message from Prince Harry at the CHIME for Change concert. (x)

REASONS WHY I LOVE HIM TO DEATH.

Ok but this guy is a saint.

We hear about all the partying and stuff but in 2008, one of the soldiers in his battalion was being threatened by 6 other soldiers from another outfit for being openly gay. The soldier escaped and went back to duty when Harry saw him and demanded to know what happened and then was like “Right well I’m going to sort this out” and full on stomped over to the guys and threw a fit at them and solved the problem and those guys never bothered the soldier again and he did it all without violence.

FOUR FOR YOU P. HARRY YOU GO P. HARRY.
